Homage
Homage is a monthly tasting menu and multi-course dining experience for a select few invited guests, allowing them to sample a variety of dishes and explore different flavors and culinary techniques while indulging in a more curated dining experience. We think that Homage at the Fairfax Inn represents the best fine dining in the city. ​

It represents an homage to my family's African-American roots and multi-cultural heritage and to Cleveland's multi-cultural heritage, We purposefully celebrate Cleveland's very distinctive culinary language, a language that is unlike any other in the world. A shared language in a place where ethnic communities connect like a quilt but overlap at the intersections. A place where the most iconic sandwich is a Polish sausage with barbecue sauce on an Italian bun.

On occasion, typically in warmer months, we open the tiny carriage house behind the Inn as a pop up kitchen. If you didn't know we were there, you might just miss us, and that is perfectly fine with us. If you know, you know.
Fairfax is a busy urban neighborhood that is home to the world famous Cleveland Clinic and it's international visitors, as well as working families who have lived here for generations. Fairfax is also a thoroughfare. It connects the East suburbs to Downtown, and is a straight shot to the Westside. Minutes away from the cultural district, there is no telling who you might meet at a Farifax event . Since we never have set menus, our pop ups will always be a suprise, But one thing will always be the same. Every thing will always be made fresh, chef driven and inspired by the local culture and ingredients.
